Classroom Management Software

Jordan School District has four classroom management software options available.

For student issued devices, you may use: GoGuardian, Securly, or Google Class Tools.

For computer labs you may use: LanSchool or Securly.

• LanSchool is not available for student issued devices.

GoGuardian

GoGuardian Teacher empowers teachers with simple control while administrators get oversight into digital engagement, directly improving academic focus and supporting teacher effectiveness.

Securly

Securly Classroom allows educators to see student screens, push out websites, lock down devices, and provide discreet 1:1 chat. Teachers can create custom block and allow lists, seating charts, and even manage substitute teachers! Classroom works on Chromebooks, Windows, and Macs. For environments using Windows or Macs, teachers will have full desktop visibility and application control.

Google Class Tools

Class tools is a new set of real-time control and student engagement features for managed Chromebooks, available for free with Google Workspace for Education Plus. Teacher must have a Chromebook to launch the tools.

LanSchool

LanSchool helps teachers connect with students to create more meaningful online experiences in the classroom. LanSchool is only authorized for use in computer labs in Jordan School District.
